Quick Flow Beads Benefits

  1. Quick Flow Beads are produced on basis of beaded cellulose. The matrix has heterogeneous structure forming both crystalline and amorphous fields of cellulose polymer chains with polymerization degree between 300 and 500 monomers.
  2. The mechanical stability of Quick Flow Beads is remarkable. Unique chemical modification dramatically reduces nonspecific protein binding and improves flow characteristics. As well as due to presence of a large number of hydroxyl groups on the matrix, Quick Flow Beads are a highly hydrophilic support matrix. The intermolecular structure of Quick Flow Beads is stabilized by hydrogen bonding and to some extent by cross-linking.

Quick Flow Beads features:

  1. Highly hydrophilic matrix.
  2. Easy to modify for ligand attachment.
  3. Easy to handle due to excellent mechanical stability even for gel with large pores.
  4. Resistant to fines generation by stirring.
  5. Rigid spherical particles.
  6. High flow throughput of the gels at a low drop in pressure.
  7. Narrow particle size distribution.
  8. High chemical resistance and compatibility with most commonly used solvents and buffers.
  9. Applicability in wide range of pH (1-14) and salt concentrations with minimal swelling or shrinking
  10. High temperature stability allows sterilization by autoclaving.
  11. High porosity of matrix allows good capacity and recovery.
